Apple is expected to launch iPhone 12 in the upcoming days which will feature the latest A14 Bionic. Recently launched iPad Air also comes with the same processor and now the benchmarks for the iPad Air have been leaked which shows the capabilities of the processor. The benchmarks of the iPad Air indicates that the A14 Bionic offers more performance than the A13 Bionic and A12Z Bionic used in the iPad Pro.
Leaker LOvetodream shared some information regarding the single GeekBench benchmark score for an ‘iPad13,2’. This clarifies that it is a tablet with motherboard number ‘J308AP’. The mother board number indicates that it is a cellular model as Wi-Fi model uses a different code which is ‘J307AP’.

The benchmark shows more details about the iPad. The device uses a 6-core chip with a base frequency of 2.99 GHz and 3.66 GB of memory. It scored 1,583 points for single core and achieved 4,198 points for multi-core. The benchmark score was higher as compared to the single core score of the iPhone 11 which was 1,327.
Apple claims that the new A14 Bionic come with some great capabilities which offers 30% higher performance and the new four-core graphics architecture for 30% faster graphics boost as compared to the A12 bionic used in the iPad Air 3. The A14 offers 19% improvement in CPU and 27% in graphics as compared to the A13 Bionic.
