Xiaomi is currently rolling out MIUI 12 updates to more eligible devices. As we know that the company already released this update to a set of its devices and some are still waiting for this update.

The company is also rolling the MIUI 12 beta update for the beta testers users in China, which brings a set of new features and optimizations to enhance the device performance. It will take some time to hit the stable version.
Now, the Device connectivity feature has emerged from the Chinese MIUI 12 ROM. It allows audio switching between connected Bluetooth speakers and phones. With this new feature, users will not have to disconnect their Bluetooth speakers if they want to play music or answer calls on their phone.
Currently, the new feature is only available on Chinese ROM, it may take some time to access the global MIUI 12 ROM, among other anticipated improvements. Below you can check
How to enable it?
- Open Settings.
- Click on Bluetooth.
- Tap on Additional settings.
- Enable the Notify about the Bluetooth device connectivity option.
- Users can select between the Default, This device, Bluetooth (Media), and Bluetooth (Calls) options from the Select audio output notification page as per your convenience.
Xiaomi is continuously enhancing its latest custom UI as new features and improvements keep on surfacing. It is unclear whether these enhancements will reach global Xiaomi devices as OEMs have not yet made any announcement about it.
