OnePlus Buds are the first truly wireless earbuds by OnePlus and works best when used with OnePlus smartphones. These earbuds offer many premium features at an affordable price such as an immersive sound experience, a long-lasting battery that lasts up to 30 hours, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and more.
These Bluetooth earbuds by OnePlus were working fine until some users reported several issues regarding its functionality. These users have been reporting disconnecting issues while using earbuds. In contrast, while listening to music or any other media, one of the earbuds gets automatically disconnected. For some users, it’s the right one, while for others it’s the left earbud.

These affected users have tried several solutions like reconnecting or resetting them, but the problem remains unfixed. After getting frustrated from these errors owners of the OnePlus Buds have reported to the OnePlus forum while the others who have just recently purchased have replaced them and got rid of the problem.

It is still unclear why these issues are occurring and the company hasn’t responded to this yet. For now, we cannot conclude whether it a hardware issue or a software problem. It would be good if this is a software problem because it could be solved in the upcoming updates but if this is a hardware issue, it’s a major defect.
The company hasn’t responded to any users’ reports on the community forum. Meanwhile, Android Authority reported that OnePlus has replied to their request and informed them – “OnePlus is aware of this issue and we are investigating.”
