Xiaomi has started to push a new firmware update for Redmi 7A globally. It brings November 2020 security patch to enhance system security.

Previously, this device received an October security patch to improve system security as well as optimized some functions. However, there’s no new feature or changes noted in the latest update.
The firmware version of this update for Redmi 7A is V11.0.5.0.QCMMIXM and an updated software size of 3.2GB. Below you can check the changelog of this update.

Apart from this, Xiaomi is expanding the Android 11 internal testing program for more eligible devices in different regions. Currently, the new update for Redmi 7A is based on Android 10 and MIUI 11. However, there’s no confirmation about the Android 11 update for this device.
