Facing wrong CSC issues with Samsung Galaxy S21 phones? Here’s a quick fix!

Last month, Samsung launched the latest Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra flagships. These premium phones are powered by Exynos 2100/Snapdragon 888 SoC and Android 11-based One UI 3.1.

Following the shipments of these newly launched devices, the early buyers have started complaining about different types of issues with Samsung Pay, OTA updates, network access points, etc. that are occurring because of the wrong ‘Country Specific Code‘ in some European markets.

According to the info, Samsung has mistakenly dispatched the Galaxy S21 series phones with the wrong CSC (Country Specific Code) mainly in Italy and UK. Now, a new report suggests that the CSC issue is only limited to some smartphone markets and can be fixed by the users themselves.

In addition, the company is reportedly rolling out a firmware update that solves the problems related to the CSC in select markets that are affected. If you’ve also purchased a Galaxy S21 series smartphone and facing errors with Samsung Pay and OTA updates, then check for the updates through device Settings.

As per the info shared on Samsung Community, the Galaxy S21 users that are facing CSC issues can follow the simple steps that are mentioned below.

Here’s the quick fix:

  • Turn off Wi-Fi
  • Remove SIM
  • Power Off (not reboot)
  • Insert SIM
  • Power On
  • Enter Pin Code.
