In the month of February, Huawei is sending January 2021 security improvements for its smartphones. Likewise, as per the latest news, the company has now released the new update for the Nova 5 series of smartphones. The security updates bring the latest security on the devices for system stability.
Below you can check the full list of Nova 5 phones getting the latest security along with the software version:
- Huawei Nova 5
- Huawei Nova 5i
- Huawei Nova 5i Pro
- Huawei Nova 5z
For the Huawei Nova 5, 5i Pro, and 5z users the update can be identified with the EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.97. While for the Nova 5i users the latest EMUI 10.0 version 10.0.0.131 is rolling out.

How to update:
Download via Settings:
Open Settings > then click on System & updates. After opening a Software update, tap on Check for updates option. If the update is available to download then click Download and install. And after installation Reboot the device.
Download via Support app:
Open the Support app on your device and then go to the Service tab. Click on the Update button and then tap on Check for update option. If the update is available then click on Download and install. After installation Reboot the device.
