The Always-On-Display feature comes with several Samsung Galaxy devices that lets users access some functionalities such as date, time, battery, and notification even when the phone’s display is off/locked. It consumes lesser battery power so users can take advantage of this feature without worrying about battery drainage.
According to the info, Samsung pushed a new Always On Display update that can be identified via build version 6.2.11.3. As per the changelog, the AOD will show the charging information only for a limited time in order to increase the display performance.
Apart from this, the new update brings fixes for the Always On Display position issue with the Good Lock’s LockStar module. Users from some regions have also reported that the date is not displaying properly when they use the left-side alignment digital clock. This issue will also be solved after updating to the latest version of the AOD app.
