Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite getting February 2021 security update

On January 26, Samsung has begun releasing the Android 11 update including One UI 3.0 features for the Galaxy Note 10 Lite devices. This update brings several changes and improvements such as better privacy controls, screen recording, notification history, chat bubbles, a new user interface, and system optimizations.

According to our dedicated “February 2021 One UI Updates Tracker“, the company is now rolling out a new software update for the affordable variant of the Galaxy Note 10 flagships. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite users are receiving the February 2021 security patch which brings fixes for 4 critical and 32 high levels of threats and exploits.

The latest firmware update for the Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes with a build version of N770FXXS7DUB1. Moreover, it is currently rolling out in European countries including France. We can expect, it will be expanded to other smartphone markets in the coming days/weeks.

Apart from the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, the Galaxy Note 10 lineup has also received the latest security update in the US. On the other hand, the Exynos-powered Note 10 variants are still waiting for the new security patches. Furthermore, the Galaxy Note 20, S20, S21, and more devices have also updated to the February 2021 security patches.

Recently, the Korean tech giant has pushed the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 features to the Galaxy S20 FE devices across Europe. The One UI 3.1 update comes with some exciting new changes like Google Discover on -1 screen, private share, object eraser, video call effects, remove the location of images before sharing, object eraser, Director’s view, and much more.

How to check for updates manually:

  • Open device Settings
  • Find and select the Software updates menu
  • Finally, tap on Download and install button.
