Earlier this month, Samsung pushed the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 features to the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 devices. Later on, the 5G version of the Galaxy A51 has also started receiving this major Android upgrade in several smartphone markets.
Now, as per the latest info, Verizon released the Android 11 update including the One UI 3.0’s changes to its branded Samsung Galaxy A51 and A71 smartphones in the US. Users of these devices can identify this update via build versions: A516VSQU1CUA3 and A716VSQU1CUA3 for the Galaxy A51 and A71 respectively.

Apart from the Android 11 and One UI 3.0, this software update also includes the January 2021 security patch that helps your device to stay protected against different levels of threats and CVEs. With the One UI 3.0, Galaxy A51/A71 users will start experiencing a totally refreshed user interface as well as a revamped lock screen, home screen, app drawer, Settings menu, and more.
The Android 11 also has its own impressive functionalities such as one-time permissions, screen-recording, better privacy controls, chat bubbles, notification history, and more. It also enhances the system functions in order to increase the user experience.
Back in December 2020, the South Korean tech giant has officially introduced the latest version of One UI – One UI 3.0. The third-generation of One UI is built on Google’s Android 11. So far, the Galaxy S20, Note 20, Note 10, S10, Z Fold/Flip, Z Fold 2, Galaxy A51, M31, M21, F41, M31s, and M30s have received this major Android 11 update.
How to check for updates manually:
- Open device Settings
- Find and select the Software updates menu
- Finally, tap on Download and install button.
