Xiaomi is sending a new security update for Mi 9 SE users in Russia. This update mainly installs the latest Android patch released in March 2021 to enhance system security.

Apart from this, the Mi 9 SE device initially launched with MIUI 10, and further, it received MIUI 11 and MIUI 12 major upgrades. However, this device also got Android 10 with a bunch of new features.
Regarding MIUI 12.5, the company has not cleared yet whether Mi 9 SE will get it or not. Users are still waiting for turns to experience the features of the latest version of MIUI, MIUI 12.5.

The software version of the new update is V12.0.3.0.QFBRUXM and users will have to download a 2.5GB software package to install the update. Below you can check the changelog and download link of this update.
