Lenovo gaming laptop equipped with Intel’s 11th-generation Core i7-11800H has appeared on Geekbench, and the single-core and multi-core running scores have improved greatly compared to the previous generation.
As shown in the figure above, the Lenovo 82JD device is equipped with an i7-11800H processor, 8-core 16-thread, 2.3-4.6GHz, and 24MB L3 cache. i7-11800H single-core 1601 points, multi-core 9377 points.
For comparison, the highest model i7-11875H of the 10th generation Core H processor i7 is about 1300 points for single-core and 7000 points for multi-core.
Recently, at the GDC exhibition in 2021, Intel vice president and general manager Roger Chandler demonstrated for the first time the 11th generation Core H series processors code-named Tiger Lake-H.
Intel’s new series of processors will use Willow Cove core architecture and use 10nm manufacturing process. This is the first time that Intel’s orthodox H-series processors have used the 10nm process. The previous generations were all SkyLake’s old architecture + 14nm process products.
Additionally, the Tiger Lake-H processor will have 20 PCIe 4.0 channels to meet the requirements of PCIe 4.0 graphics cards and PCIe 4.0 SSDs. In terms of connection performance, it supports Wi-Fi 6/6E (Gig+) and Thunderbolt 4.
