Samsung Internet is the service offering from Samsung for internet browsing that comes pre-installed with all the Galaxy devices. This browser offers a bunch of options to easily surf the internet along with maintained privacy. Besides its own devices, the service is also available for the other Android phones that can be downloaded via Google Play Store.
While the application already comes with several interesting features, the South Korean tech giant keeps working to make it more interesting, and users friendly. Following the launch of the beta version of Samsung Internet 14 early last month, Samsung has released the final version of its mobile browser.
Many of the features introduced in the beta are now available in this release, including a new Flex mode in which video appears in the upper half of the screen and the control user interface appears in the lower half.

In addition, the Smart Anti-Tracking feature has received an update to version 3.0, which will now protect against third-party trackers by clearing cookies at scheduled intervals. It is also now possible to run multiple Samsung Internet browsers at once.
Depending on which Galaxy device you’re using, you might have two to three pairs of apps. Since One UI 2.5, a maximum of three pairs of applications are supported in a split window. Apart from these improvements, there are few more minor changes that have been added:
- New privacy dashboard showing how many pop-ups and cookies have been blocked
- System font applied to web pages
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S7: handwriting recognition in text fields and address bar
- Reading improvements
- The browser translation extension now supports 18 languages
