Nvidia has provided its partners with information on the GAxx2 chip. This series of GPUs will be equipped with a new cryptocurrency mining limiter and support RezisableBAR, and no vBIOS update is required.
Nvidia expects GAxx2 series chips to begin shipping in mid-May. Nvidia has no plan to distinguish LHR (low mining efficiency) chips from existing models. The new and old products have the same name. The way to distinguish them is to look at the GPU. Graphics monitoring tools should also be able to identify them.

Nvidia has made it clear that the new chip will provide exactly the same gaming performance as existing graphics cards. With the quiet launch of the RTX 30 LHR series, the supply of Ampere series graphics cards is expected to improve.
The RTX 3090 will also be replaced with GA102-302 GPU, but it will not limit the mining efficiency, because the card itself is too expensive and the profitability of mining with it is not high.
