Adobe released Creative Cloud Add-on for Google Workspace

Last year, Adobe released the Gmail add-on for quick access and savings for the Creative Cloud. Today’s update of the Creative Cloud add-on for the Google workspace extends that functionality to Google Docs and Slides.

Meanwhile working in a Google Docs or Slides file, you can now quickly access and add brand colors, graphics, or font styles, from Lighters to Illustrator, InDesign, and XD. This will allow you to take advantage of the more familiar Google Docs system of sharing and collaboration.

All of these make it easy to maintain the same truth for things like brand and marketing docs, guides, and presentations. In addition, integration makes it easier to gather feedback from stakeholders outside the creative world.

The creative calendar appears in the workspace add-on sidebar below the default for Google Calendar, Funnel, and Tasks. Custom “view by type” view with an entry is easy by pressing the checkmark.

It integrates into existing Gmail integrations, where you can easily share links to XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom files, as well as send messages and save Gmail attachments directly to the Creative Cloud.

Google has previously stated that Adobe is one of the “most requested third-party connections” by Creative Cloud operators.
