The developers announced that on May 27, the game about large fighting robots MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will receive cross-play support. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries was released for PC in the Microsoft Store and Epic Games Store in December 2019. It should be on Steam soon.

Simultaneously with the release of the game, on May 27, a free update and paid Heroes of the Inner Sphere will be released, which will add a new Career mode, equipment, tasks, including a procedurally generated mission mode, and robots to the game.
