Before the official announcement, Samsung already listed the Galaxy A82 5G smartphone in its monthly update support announcement. According to the list, this device is eligible for new security updates every quarter.
Although the South Korean tech giant has not officially released the Galaxy A82 5G, it has launched the Galaxy Quantum 2 at its home last month. The company is expected to sell the Galaxy A82 5G as a market outside of South Korea.
Samsung seems to be ready to add the Galaxy A82 5G as a new member of the Galaxy A series. Recently, Samsung’s enemy Max Weinbach shared a promotional video of the A82 5G, which showed its larger battery, dustproof and waterproof IP rating, advanced camera features, etc.

Other than that, the leaked trailer did not reveal the release date of the Galaxy A82 5G, although it may happen soon. As mentioned above, Samsung launched the Galaxy Quantum 2 in South Korea last month and is expected to sell this device in the international market as the Galaxy A82 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A82 5G Specifications
The upcoming Galaxy A82 5G may be equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it may be equipped with a Snapdragon 855+ processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage support, and an Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box.
Following this trend, Samsung Galaxy A82 5G introduced an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader and stereo speakers, which were previously dedicated to flagship products. In the imaging department, it may have a triple rear camera setup, which consists of a 64MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro.
