Switching to a modified processor will make the consoles quieter, cooler, and also lower power consumption. Most likely, the changes will affect only the components of the system, externally, the PS5 will remain unchanged.
Earlier, Sony reported that due to the shortage of semiconductors, the company will not be able to increase the production of PS5 until March 2022.
On the other hand, throughout the announcement of financial results, Sony Corporation announced that it will invest in games exclusively for PlayStation platforms.
The company’s chief financial officer, Hiroki Totoki, said that the Japanese corporation will spend 20 billion yen more on exclusives this fiscal year than in the previous year. That’s roughly $ 183 million.
A few days ago, the head of Sony Interactive Entertainment Jim Ryan claimed that the PS5 will receive more exclusives than the company’s previous consoles. He also promised further purchases by the development teams.
