Sony still hasn’t resolved the DualSense controller issues and it looks like the case will end with a full-fledged process. In February, it was reported that Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith had filed a class-action lawsuit over a defective PlayStation 5 controller.

In March, CSK & D wanted to make sure Sony wouldn’t use an arbitration agreement that said consumers can’t sue. The complaint has been changed and now the lawyers are demanding a jury trial. This will set up a full-fledged process in which Sony representatives will have to participate.
In addition, lawyers argue that Sony was well aware of the problem with the analog stick drift of the Dualsense controller for PS5: “Sony was aware of the analog stick drift defect from online consumer complaints, direct complaints, and internal pre-testing.”
According to CSK & D, the right of consumers, who must demand monetary and other compensation for the damage caused, was violated. If the court allows normal litigation, it is possible that it will affect the design of the DualSense controller.
