TSMC today announced its April 2021 revenue: On a consolidated basis, revenue in April 2021 is approximately NT$111.32 billion, a decrease of 13.8% from March 2021 and an increase of 16.0% over April 2020.
In addition, TSMC’s revenue from January to April 2021 totaled NT$473.73 billion, an increase of 16.5% over the same period in 2020.

Samsung said at the end of last month that its sales increased by 8% to 19.01 trillion won, but its semiconductor division’s operating profit fell 16% year-on-year to 3.37 trillion won ($3.03 billion). This marks the first time in a year that Samsung Electronics has declined in semiconductor profits.
TrendForce said that TSMC is further dominating, occupying a 56% share in the first three months of 2021, an increase of 2% over the same period last year, and an increase of 8% over two years ago. Samsung lost 1 percentage point over the same period.
