Analyst company TrendForce tried to predict how many monitors will be shipped this year. Strong demand, driven by the massive shift to teleworking, learning, and entertainment last year, has driven shipments to 140 million units last year, analysts estimate.
This is 8.6% more than in 2019. This growth rate is the highest in the last ten years. Growth continued in the first quarter of this year. In annual terms, it turned out to be 34.1%. Growth is expected to exceed 10% in the current quarter.

In total, 150 million monitors will be shipped in 2021, which corresponds to an increase in shipments of 7.3%. At the same time, the segment of gaming monitors is projected to grow by 17.3%. During the year, 25.9 million units of game models will be shipped.
