Asus has unveiled the Zenfone 8 Flip flagship smartphone, which is the successor to the ZenFone 7 with an emphasis on four things: full-screen design, excellent battery life, flagship performance, and a camera with unique capabilities.
The Samsung AMOLED screen has a diagonal of 6.67 at FullHD + resolution, it occupies 92% of the front panel area and has no holes or cutouts for the front camera since it uses a single rotary camera unit, but more on that later.

The screen is characterized by a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a response time of 1 ms, and a polling rate of the touch layer of 200 Hz. The smartphone has 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 flash memory. It is possible to install a microSD memory card with a capacity of up to 2 TB, as well as support for NTFS for external drives. The smartphone received a face recognition function, an accelerometer, an electronic compass sensor, a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, a gyroscope, and a Hall sensor.
The only camera unit has a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 image sensor, a lens with an aperture of F / 1.8. The camera can record 8K video with electronic image stabilization. The wide-angle camera uses a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor. The third module has an 8MP OmniVision OV08A sensor, it is used for 3x optical and 12x digital zoom.
The smartphone received two stereo speakers, as well as two NXP TFA9874 amplifiers for loud and high-quality sound. The device is equipped with three microphones, as well as proprietary noise-canceling technology.
