The Chinese company BYD introduced the BYD e3 electric car, which received as many as four pedals. It is designed for driving schools, with three pedals available to the driver, and the fourth (backup brake) for the instructor.
The training BYD e3 is a simplified version of the previously released electric vehicle. The novelty received a gearbox that imitates a 5-speed “mechanics”, and the electronic system monitors the correct shifting.

But it is not known whether the electric car will “stall” if it comes to a complete stop with the gear engaged and the clutch is released.
The car is also equipped with a 20% reduced battery. The vehicle’s range is 350 km. In addition, BYD e3 received additional rear-view mirrors and a duplicate signal button for the instructor. The BYD e3 electric training vehicle is priced at around $ 20,000.
