Xiaomi bringing Redmi Note 8 2021 because of solid 25 million sales of 2019’s model

Just recently, Xiaomi India officially confirmed that the company has successfully sold 200 million Redmi Note series smartphones. Soon after the announcement, the company announced that the popular Redmi Note 8 series has sold its 25 million units globally.

Redmi Note 8 series smartphones are one of the company’s most popular and in-demand phones. Earlier, we have been informed that Xiaomi is bringing back its Note 8 with some improvements.

Now, with the release of 25 million mobile phones, Xiaomi has officially confirmed the arrival of the Redmi Note 8 2021. Although the company has not confirmed any specifics of the upcoming phones, we are already familiar with some of them.

This device recently received Bluetooth certification, which confirmed that the new Note 8 2021 would replace Bluetooth 5.0 instead of Bluetooth 5.2. And its FCC certification reveals the features that we could not even imagine being in that device that was launched in August 2019.

According to the FCC listing, the phone model number M1908C3JGG will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, MIUI 12.5 operating system based on Android 11, a 4000mAh battery, and 4GB RAM + 128GB internal memory.

In addition, the original Redmi Note 8 was launched with MIUI 10 operating system based on Android 9 (Pie). Later, it received four major updates and is currently running on the MIUI 12 operating system based on Android 11.

Apart from the software, it is also equipped with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 665 SoC, and a 4000mAh battery. Its four-camera setup includes a 48MP wide main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP depth, and another 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie shooter.
