The Falcon 9 rocket took off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Base in Florida, sending another batch of 60 Starlink satellites. In space, this is the 29th overall launch of Starlink satellites. At the same time, it also marks the 100th consecutive successful launch of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket.
This record can be traced back to June 2015. When the Falcon 9 rocket was performing a cargo spacecraft launch mission, due to a defect in the helium cylinder steel support, the rocket exploded and disintegrated 139 seconds after launch. This accident caused SpaceX to disintegrate in the next six months. All launch missions were stopped, and a large number of orders were postponed to launch.

Even after a major failure in 2015, NASA signed a commercial manned space flight contract with SpaceX. After that, SpaceX completed 6 rocket recovery and became the first company in the world to have this technology. This is also the spaceflight of other countries including NASA. None of the institutions have ever achieved it.
This is the 16th launch of the Falcon 9 rocket this year. So far, most of the launch missions have been to send Starlink satellites into space. However, most of SpaceX’s upcoming launch missions this summer appear to be projects of company customers, including the 22nd cargo replenishment mission for NASA, the launch of GPS III satellites, and Sirius XM satellites for the US Space Force.
