Xiaomi May 2021 Security Update rolling out for Redmi Note 10, Redmi 9/9A/9AT

Xiaomi is working regularly to release a stable MIUI 12.5 update for more devices. At the same time, we started hearing rumors about MIUI 13, the next version of MIUI. The company regularly rolls out software updates to improve the performance of its devices and fix several issues.

At present, Xiaomi has started sending a new software update for Redmi 9, Redmi 9A/9AT, and Redmi Note 10 users in different regions. The new update brings May 2021 security patch to enhance the system security.

For Redmi Note 10 and Redmi 9, this update also brings a new feature for Xiaomi Cloud which automatically reported the location information before the device is powered off.
