Huawei’s Nova 5 series phones have already received the first HarmonyOS 2.0 beta update which replaced the EMUI software with the brand new home screen, control panel, service center, HarmonyOS fonts, security certification, and much more.
The HarmonyOS was officially announced on June 02, and as of now, it has reached many Huawei devices. The first batch of Honor phones has too received their first beta update bringing in the brand new OS and replacing the older Magic UI.
Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5i Pro, Nova 5z beta testers are now eligible to upgrade to a new HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.135 upgraded from 2.0.0.127. Do note that this beta program is currently carried in China and the company will soon expand it internationally.

HarmonyOS 2.0 beta program lets users test the new OS and find its initial bugs, based on the user’s feedback, the company then releases more beta builds with improvements. The first beta update for the aforementioned Nova 5 device brought a brand new UI and a bunch of new features and functionalities. Now, according to the latest news, these smartphones are now getting further improvements and bug fixes for a better users experience.
Looking at the release note, the new beta build optimizes the experience of using service widgets, improves the calendar interface and the sound experience of Bluetooth headsets enhancing users’ experience. Besides, there is nothing else the update has.
