Xiaomi is delivering a new software update for Mi 11X Pro users in India. The update brings the July 2021 security patch to improving system security. However, its Chinese variant has not received this patch yet.

As per the information, the Mi 11X Pro July update comes with the MIUI 12.5 version V12.5.2.0.RKKINXM and an updated package size of 3.0GB in India. It is an initial rollout, so it may take time/days to reach all devices
Besides this, the changelog doesn’t have much to show us and has not mentioned any other changes made to the system. More information about the update steps and the changelog is mentioned below.

Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro
Back in April, Xiaomi launched the Mi 11X and 11X Pro smartphones in India. Mi 11X Pro packs with a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+, 8,192 levels of dimming, and 2.76mm ultra-small punch-hole that houses a 20MP camera. It is powered by Snapdragon 888 5nm SoC supporting up to 8GB of RAM.
It comes pre-installed with Android 11 based MIUI 12. Last month, the device received an MIUI 12.5 update with a June security patch, which brings a bunch of new features and optimization.
Here’s how to check for updates manually
- From the Home Screen swipe down.
- Tap on Settings icon.
- Select About phone.
- Hit on MIUI version menu.
- Finally, click on Download update
