Huawei is releasing a new software update for the Mate 20 Lite users installing the new security patch released in May 2021. Further, this update also brings several new applications and optimizes the overall user experience.
As per Huawei, the May 2021 security patch fixes several bugs including 3 critical, 10 high, and 4 medium levels of CVEs. The security patches become compulsory to be installed on a device to maintain its security and protect it from external threats.

Those new apps that this software update for Huawei Mate 20 Lite include are Petal Search, Books, Petal Maps, GameCenter Member Center, and Link Now. The users can identify the patch using EMUI 10.0 version 10.0.0.285 (C432E12R1P1) and it has a download size of around 441MB.
Besides the security patch and some new applications, this update doesn’t have anything much to make Mate 20 Lite users happy. You can check the changelog and steps to download below.

How to check for update on Huawei Mate 20 Lite:
