The August 2021 security update is now making its way for the Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10 Porsche Design, P20, P20 Pro, and Mate RS Porsche Design.

These phones are eligible to upgrade over the latest HarmonyOS 2.0 closed beta version 2.0.0.188 upgrading from 2.0.0.165. The software is rolling out gradually in the Chinese market.
Huawei P20 and Mate 10 Global Variants:
3 weeks ago, Huawei began to push a new EMUI software update for the Huawei P20 and Mate 10 global users. More interesting, these phones received new applications, as well as new security patches released in May 2021.
However, Huawei has not spilled a word on the global availability of the HarmonyOS 2.0 or for these smartphones. The company may also roll out EMUI 12 as the next goal for the global market.
