Just recently, Google officially released Android 12 for its pixels smartphones. Following the release, several OEMs also started to release beta updates for their smartphones in different regions.
JOIN XIAOMI ON TELEGRAM
Xiaomi is now rolling out an Android 12 update for Mi 11i users globally. It brings a bunch of new features and optimizations as well as improves the system security by installing the latest Android patch released in September 2021.
However, the update is currently only available for Mi Pilot testers. This means that the OEM will release stable updates for all users after ensuring security and stability. Under normal circumstances, the company doesn’t spend too much time releasing the firmware to all users, so we believe other users don’t have to wait too long to experience Android 12.

Android 12 update has brought some new features, changes, and improvements. Apart from this, it is also equipped with a new design called Material You, which helps developers to maximize their Android applications.
The major operating system comes with changes like notification UI update, stretch overscroll, app startup splash screen, new privacy dashboard, more efficient system performance, responsive notifications, nearby device permissions, microphone and camera switching, and more changes.
