Xiaomi has already started releasing an Android 12 based MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi K40 and Mi 10S users. However, currently, the update is released for Mi Pilot testers in China only. It comes with the latest MIUI 12.5 closed beta update version 21.10.12.

Anyways, this major operating system updates have brought some new features, changes, and improvements. Apart from this, it is also equipped with a new design called Material U, which helps developers to maximize their Android applications.
Notification UI update, excessive scrolling, app startup splash screen, new privacy dashboard, more efficient system performance, responsive notifications, nearby device permissions, microphone and camera switching, easier blur, color filters, and other changes are some of the main highlights of Android 12.
Coming to MIUI 13, the company is expected to release the next generation optimized UI Beta, soon. It is being said that there will be many new features, functions, animations, and customization in it.
