Parallels Desktop for Mac released a 17.1 version update, providing more stable support for Win11 and improving its experience of running on the macOS Monterey system of M1 Mac.
According to the latest report, Win11 requires to be based on a TPM chip to run, which restricts the compatibility of Win11 with older PCs and makes it difficult to run on Intel Macs through Boot Camp. At the same time, there is no Boot Camp function on the M1 Mac.
Moreover, this event, version 17.1 offers default support for vTPM, and M1 Mac can better run the Win11 system through the virtual machine. In addition to automatically supporting vTPM, version 17.1 also allows users to install Parallels Tools in the macOS Monterey virtual machine on the M1 Mac.

Furthermore, users use the copy and paste function between the virtual machine and the main macOS. The default virtual machine disk size has also been expanded from 32GB to 64GB.
