This is the company’s most popular range in both, domestic as well as overseas markets. It wouldn’t be surprising if this wearable upgraded to the HarmonyOS system. Linked to this, the company started recruiting new beta testers for the Watch GT 2 46mm smartwatch a month ago. However, the features were only complementary and the rest of the details are yet to come.

At the same time, Huawei is improving the system performance of the accessories. Earlier, Huawei Watch GT 2e has received the October 2021 update to maintain stable performance in the system.

The October 2021 update will upgrade the Huawei Watch GT 2 version from 1.0.13.10/1.0.13.1 2 to the latest 1.0.13.1 8 versions. Speaking of the update logs, it has brought system stability optimizations for some scenarios.
However, it’s rolling out in batches and may take 3 to 7 days to cover respective models. Until then, users are recommended to wait patiently. Although the changelog is simple, it needs to be downloaded as soon it appears on the smartwatch.

Users can download this update through Huawei Health App. Just open the application and tap on the devices option and select “Huawei Watch GT 2” there. Afterward, you have to select the latest update and follow the further procedure to install this firmware.
On the other hand, there are few things that users need to keep remember while installing this update. First, make sure to keep the smartphone and smartwatch in an adequate BT range and maintain more than 20% of battery level in the wearable.
