According to the latest report, before the official release of Windows 10 version 21H2 also known as the November 2021 update, Windows 10 version 21H1 has been approved by Microsoft for widespread deployment, which means it is now widely pushed to PC users. In some cases, Windows 10 21H1 version will be installed automatically.

Windows 10 version 21H2
Microsoft is currently preparing for the public promotion of Windows 10 version 21H2, which is expected to start in November. Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 10 Build 19044.1288 is the candidate version for the public promotion of the November update and is now available for download by Release preview users.
In the Release preview channel, you can choose Windows 11 or Windows 10 21H2, and users will automatically receive monthly updates through Windows Update. Windows 10 version 21H2 is the follow-up version of 21H1 released in May this year. This is the second feature update of Windows 10 in 2021. It is an enabling feature pack, just like the previous two versions. The new features provided by the 21H2 version are also expected to be updated through future cumulative patches in the 21H1 version.
Moreover, Windows 10 version 21H2 is a small improvement for enterprises, because the new features are now only developed for Windows 11 systems. When Microsoft announced the feature update in July, Windows 10 version 21H2 confirmed that it will support the WPA3 H2E standard, better control of Windows Hello biometric authentication, and GPU computing support for Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).
Windows Subsystem for Linux finally has better support for machine learning and other workloads. In addition to GPU support, the Windows Linux subsystem is expected to receive general improvements directly through Windows Update. In addition, Microsoft has also begun to test Windows 10’s “Windows 11 style new application store”, currently testers can use it in the Release preview channel.
