However, some reports claim that Xiaomi has discontinued the transparent wallpaper function from its MIUI running devices due to some reasons.

Reportedly, this is because of the conflict between transparent wallpaper and third-party applications. Also, it lacks the support at the bottom of Android 12, and the user experience was greatly affected (via).
