According to Weibo blogger @ panda’s very male, SM8450 will be named Snapdragon 8 gen1, and the upcoming “Dimensity 2000” chip will be named Dimensity 9000.

From the previous news, this Dimensity 9000 chip will use 1 Cortex-X2 (3.0GHz) super core, 3 Cortex-A710 (2.85GHz) large cores, and 4 Cortex-A510 (1.8GHz) middle cores.
Moreover, MediaTek has previously stated that it will launch the first 5G flagship chip at the end of this year as scheduled, using ARM’s latest flagship core and the industry’s best TSMC 4nm process.
