Xiaomi has begun rolling out a new software update for Redmi Note 9 smartphones. This update is currently released for Russian ROM users but is expected to soon reach other regions.
According to the changelog, the new firmware optimizes the phone’s system performance for users experience enhancement. Adding to this, it also improves system security and stability.

Besides these, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention any new features or major changes. Users may notice some minor changes and improvements after installing the latest version.
Aside from the changelog, the update comes with the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.2.0.RJORUXM. To experience it, one will have to download and install the package of around 2.5GB on their smartphones.
You can get the download links for the update below but if you want to install it manually, head over the Settings of your smartphones. Now click on System Updates > Download and Install. Once installed, Restart your phone, and you are done.
