Following the launch, several OEMs started releasing information about upcoming smartphones that will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Chip. Recently, Xiaomi has officially confirmed that it will launch the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphone, Xiaomi 12.

Xiaomi
Recently, Xiaomi has officially announced the release of the Xiaomi 12 series at the end of this month. Now, the company has confirmed that Xiaomi 12 will be featuring the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform.
Samsung
The latest information suggests that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 series will come with Qualcomm’s latest chipset and it’s expected to enter the market on February 18, 2022.
Motorola
Motorola Edge X30 is now officially unveiled in China, this is the first Android phone to launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
OnePlus
Oppo’s Chief Product Officer and OnePlus founder Liu Zuohu has announced through his official Weibo account that the new OnePlus next-generation products will be powered by the new generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform.
He said, “OnePlus has always insisted on being only flagship in the past, and it has won everyone’s approval in this regard. Our software and hardware development resources are focused on the optimization of the Snapdragon flagship processor, which allows us to maximize the performance of the Snapdragon flagship processor“.
OPPO
The OPPO representatives who attended the Snapdragon Technology Summit stated that the OPPO will be the first manufacturer to adopt the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform. The new flagship product will be officially released as soon as the first quarter of 2022.
Realme
Just recently, Realme’s Vice President Xu Qi has officially revealed that if all goes well, Realme will become the second mobile phone brand in the world to release the new Snapdragon 8 flagship. The Realme GT 2 Pro is coming on December 20.

iQOO
iQOO mobile phone has officially announced via Weibo that the company’s new flagship will be powered by the new generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 mobile platform. The new flagship model is expected to be the iQOO 9 series.
