Just after the launch of MIUI 13, Xiaomi officially revealed the rollout plan for Chinese and Global variants. However, the company also released beta updates for a bunch of eligible devices including Xiaomi 11 series, Xiaomi 10 series, and more.

Now, the latest report reveals that volunteer developers have ported the latest MIUI 13 interface for Xiaomi’s older flagship phones. The latest custom skin MIUI 13 will soon be available for some old devices including Mi 6, MI 8, MIX 2, MIX 2S, and MI PAD 4.
However, this custom MIUI installed via TWRP, which is said to be faster than MIUI 12 in terms of performance. As per the shared image, the update schedule for these devices is as follow:
Xiaomi MIUI 13: First Batch [Early Adopters]
- Mi 6 (released: click to go )
- Mi MIX 2S (expected to be released on December 31)
- Mi Pad 4 (released: click to go )
Xiaomi MIUI 13: Second Batch [Early Adopters]
- Xiaomi Mi 8 (expected to be released in January 2022)
- Xiaomi MIX 2 (expected to be released in January 2022)
If you’re interested, you can download the MIUI 13 for Mi 6 and Mi Pad 4 from the link mentioned above. This MIUI 13 is based on Android 11 for China users. The early adopter version is firstly released for Mix 2, Mi 6, and Mi Pad 4 while the other devices will be received in the first week of January.
