Xiaomi is back with its weekly update, this time as MIUI 22.3.3. Often these updates appear as minor bug fixes or a few additional features for the device. But here and now, the company has released various implements around many of its devices. These additions bring new features for the well-known voice assistant application, Xiao Ai as well.

MIUI 22.3.3 Weekly Update
Rolling out as 22.3.3, the latest MIUI weekly update provides changes related to the system applications. For instance, we have a new cropped screenshot mechanism, Redmi K50 VoNR (Voice over 5G New Radio) call feature, removal of Sound visual effects from some of the devices, variation in UI for camera and floating window feature, a new space for ID or passport photos, a new category for widgets ecosystem, and much more.

While discovering the changelog, we found many fixes that take place through MIUI 22.3.3 upgrade. These fixes improve the system stability as well as repair the defaults of several applications.
NEW:
Xiao Ai
- The users can enable the system voice assistant, Xiao Ai, to remind about the special events (birthdays, anniversaries) through a notification.
- Voice controls can be enabled for turning on/off the flashlight, dark mode, full-screen mode as well as swapping between 12 and 24 hours accordingly.
- Obtains better controls for playing music.
Other Applications
- Apps such as Security don’t have to wait for an OTA update as they can spontaneously get updates from the MIUI app store.
- Improved stability on Browser and screen unlocking
- Optimizations for screen recording and casting
- New VPN window adapts MIUI interface
- The DC dimming and screen anti-flicker mode is removed from Redmi K40

- Fixed bugs on Mi PC Program
- Fixed flickering while using the global sidebar
- The floating button on AoD is fixed
- Resolves wallpaper reverting to original one after some time
- Impairs relaunch of the launcher after switching between dark and light mode
- The floating display doesn’t show up in some cases is fixed
- Repair bugs in Calculator as well as Wallet apps
- Fixation for identifying the slow or unstable Wi-Fi networks slowly
NOTE: Due to the major version upgrade of Android, the release of Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G, Mi Pad 5 Pro, Mi Pad 5 will be suspended.
