Compared with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, the Snapdragon 8+ single-core score is slightly better than the Dimensity 9000, but the multi-core performance of the Dimensity is slightly better.

The Snapdragon 8 + process technology has been changed to TSMC’s 4nm process. The core architecture has not changed compared with the Snapdragon 8. It is a three-cluster architecture of super-large core Cortex-X2 + large-core A710 + small-core A510, but its CPU core the highest frequency is increased to 3.2GHz, so the CPU performance is improved by 10%, and the GPU performance is also improved by 10%.

Officially, the CPU power consumption is reduced by about 30% compared with the Snapdragon 8, and the GPU power consumption is reduced by up to 30%. The overall power consumption of the platform is reduced by about 15% compared with the Snapdragon 8.

Moreover, the new phones equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ mobile platform will be released one after another from July, and brands such as Xiaomi, Motorola, iQOO, and realme will launch terminals equipped with this processor.
