Officials said that compared with the previous generation, the Ryzen Embedded R2000 series doubled the number of cores and provided a significant performance improvement. The CPU and graphics performance of the new R2514 model increased by up to 81% compared to similar R1000 series processors.

Moreover, the Ryzen Embedded R2000 adopts the “Zen+” core architecture and AMD Radeon graphics card, and the performance efficiency per unit power consumption has also been optimized and can support up to 4 independent monitors with 4K resolution.

The embedded R2000 series processors are scalable up to 4 “Zen+” CPU cores, 8 threads, 2MB of L2 cache, and 4MB of shared L3 cache. In addition, the Ryzen Embedded R2000 series processors also support up to 3200MT/s of DDR4 dual-channel memory and expanded I/O connectivity, which can provide 33% higher memory bandwidth4 and double I/O compared to the R1000 series processor’s O Connectivity.
