Google is rolling out a new update for Android Auto which comes with an 11.1 version and brings the ability to set wallpapers and new icon share on your car display. To be mentioned, this new addition will elevate the user’s experience as they can now customize the Android Auto screen as per their preference.
After downloading the Android Auto 11.1 update, users can set the wallpapers of their smartphone to the background screen of their car dashboard, which will offer a more soothing and enriched interpretation. While, the icon shape feature changes the appearance of the app icons on Android Auto, depending on the phone’s default icon shape.
In addition, to this new feature, the latest update will also improve Android Auto stability and resolve some common bugs and glitches for an uninterrupted experience. However, the update is rolling out gradually and will take some time to be available for everyone.
Accordingly, users can access the latets feature by following some simple steps, like open Settings > Tap on Display and simply turn on the ‘Use phone’s wallpaper in Android Auto’ option.
