Android Auto lets you use Google Maps on phone and car at same time
Android Auto is a helpful tool when it comes to driving and to make it a little more efficient, Google will let you use Maps on both phone and car at the same time. As of now, users would be able to utilize their handset and automobile features simultaneously.
Consequently, some Redditors recently noted that Maps can now be used on both Android Auto in cars and smartphones, all together. Up to this point, consumers were at the limitation where they can’t use the Maps application on handsets and the Android Auto dashboard at the same time.
When trying to enable it, the app pop-ups the alert “Your phone can’t display Google Maps while Android Auto is running”. This was one of the major demerits of this application as it remains confined to showing turn-by-turn navigation, an ETA, distance remaining, and music controls.

Although no more such restrictions and you can effectively use Maps on Android Auto and your phone. Eventually, you can command your co-pilot to help you get to the right location. As per the details, the feature came to light in February but is finally rolling out on a wider spectrum.
