Android Auto shows Google Maps bug that forces navigation to continue

Google has recently pushed a new update for Android Auto that suddenly bricked Google Maps and resulted in an annoying bug. As per the details, the navigation app isn’t closing and remains open even when users leave the car.

To those who are unaware, Android Auto received the 10.0 update in the latest development. Meanwhile, it can immediately launch Google Maps when you connect your device so that, you can keep an eye on the navigation without sneaking into your phone frequently.

However, a few consumers on the Reddit platform reported that after fetching the recent update, Android Auto is showing a nasty Google Maps bug that continues to run the navigation, even when they unplug it from the car. Things take a pause only when you manually hit the “exit navigation” option.
