Google is constantly renovating its applications to benefit users in every possible manner. In the current scenario, the US tech giant has picked the Android Auto app, which will soon bring quick access facilities to charging stations with the help of Google Maps.

According to the details, Google is planning to swap the search category on Android Auto for charging stations. Consequently, it will make it easy for users to get directions to the nearest charging station without typing the query on their car’s screen or commanding it to Google Assistant.

That’s not it! The company is further trying to make Google Maps more efficient with EV-specific features in the Android Auto setting. One can enable it to see the new quick-access search category for nearby charging stations.
