Another change in Twitter world, tweets are now called ‘posts’

Twitter and its changes have occupied a large space in the headlines these days. Though the latest development is giving a new name to this application. As per the revealings, Twitter will now be known as X whereas, its tweets have seemingly become ‘posts’.

A few days ago, we reported that Twitter for Android has started showing the X logo on the status bar and notification panel. Meanwhile, a new name for the respective app was in expectation. Spotted on the beta version 10.1.0-beta.1, the Twitter name is now “X” (X Beta for testing builds) and the tweets have now changed to posts.

It looks like, Elon Musk is completely removing the old yet iconic Twitter from the app world, and trying to build a renovated application. However, users don’t favor these changes in the majority. Notably, the package name is still com.twitter.android as a change in it will require a new app and Play Store listing. [Check HERE]
