Apple and Threads applications have started walking side by side. In the latest development, the tech giant is bringing rich post-link previews for Threads on Apple iMessage, making the overall app experience more convenient and reliable.
Eventually, it means that when a user will share a Threads post link via Apple iMessage, the chat bubble previews and highlight the text post inline, along with the profile picture and username of the author. It’s similar to what we see while sharing the Twitter links on the respective application.

Note that Apple never offered the same treatment for Facebook. But these things are changing with the newly launched app to some extent. On the flip side, the preview works on standard meta tags supplied in the HTML page’s source code, but Apple has to explicitly whitelist providers to show the text content in the bubbles.
