Apple Notes app receives a new feature with the latest iOS 15.4 firmware update. The feature can be familiar to the users with the term “Scan Text”. This new implementation in the Notes application allows the users to scan even the handwritten texts.
With the onset of the newest iOS 15.4 software, a lot of new additions took place in iPhones as well as iPads. Scan Text Feature
If we talk about the previous versions, that is iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, the scan text feature requires a tap on the text area in the application. Further, touch the Live Text icon. However, the latest software made the steps simple yet advanced for the devices. Moreover, along with the Apple Notes app update, the feature also appears as a shortcut option in the Reminder application.
Scan text is a simple feature that allows the user to scan the printed as well as handwritten text. Apple also explains bit-by-bit, how one can use this feature on their device. Go to the Notes App > Camera icon > Scan Text > Insert button.
