So far, the users were using iTunes Pass for checking the balance within their Apple ID. The respective pass carried a QR code that further allows the users to purchase items from the Apple Retail Stores. However, with the new change, the buying process became more convenient.
Now, instead of any pass, or QR code, users can simply complete the purchase transactions using Apple Pay. Besides, you can have better control over your Apple ID balance with the new card. Although, users have to note that the card is only visible to users who hold the balance on their Apple ID.
